When I joined ABILITY in 2011, our value to our Strategic Partners was providing the most comprehensive, secure internet connectivity to Medicare. Today, many industry veterans and a number of our Strategic Partners still think of us this way. While we continue to lead the industry in Medicare connectivity, we are excited to share news on our expanded service and connectivity options.
With our acquisition of MD On-Line in 2014, we added all-payer connectivity functionality to enhance our EDI portfolio. MD On-Line focused on the often overlooked market segment of small physician offices, enabling close to 100,000 providers to send claims electronically to their largest payers. In 2016, we added a comprehensive revenue cycle management tool, ABILITY | ACCESS® RCM, to further expand all-payer connectivity and enhance workflow tools that serve the continuum of healthcare, including acute, post-acute, and ambulatory markets.
Our goal is to help Strategic Partners simplify the administrative and clinical complexities of healthcare for their customers, and that goal serves as our guiding principle as we continue to develop our services.
